East Africa Safari

TANZANIA HIGHLIGHTS

Experience a majestic Tanzania Safari. While staying at these superb Tanzanian Lodges explore the scenic and wildlife highlights of this magical destination.

Start you journey in the safari capital of Tanzania, Arusha, located at the foot of Mt. Meru, close to Mount Kilimanjaro, the Manyara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro National Parks. Here you will enjoy 1 night at Arusha Coffee, delightful sanctuary of aromas, gourmet food and vibrant gardens located on the expansive grounds of a verdant coffee plantation.

Your next destination – on the path of an annual elephant migration, Tarangire Treetops sits alone in a 312km2 private wildlife area bordering Tarangire National Park, amid a landscape of rolling and baobab-studded hills. Enjoy your stay in an elevated “treehouse” suite perched high up with views over the adjacent baobab and marula trees. After the Serengeti, Tarangire has the greatest concentration of wildlife in Tanzania and in the dry season the Tarangire River is a magnet for thirsty wildlife – enjoy premium game viewing, guided bush walk and superb hospitality at Tarangire Treetops.

Next make your way to the Ngorongoro region. Spend the next couple of days at The Manor at Ngorongoro, situated in the shadow of the Ngorongoro Crater. The Manor at Ngorongoro, with its luxurious cottages and magnificent Manor House, brings “old-world” opulence to a green and lush setting.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most breathtakingly impressive sights to behold in Africa. Eighteen kilometers in diameter, the crater is a caldera formed at a time of volcanic eruption, and now home to an abundance of wildlife.

For your final destination, make your way to the Northern Serengeti. Lining the banks of the famous Grumeti river, home to pods of hippos, Serengeti Migration Camp perfectly encapsulates the luxury camp experience. It overlookings a kopje and plains across the river and situated on the path of the annual Great Migration – during the months of April through June and again in late October to December, you will be treated to a landscape dotted with wildebeest from horizon to horizon.
